The Festival Foods Fireworks will light up the sky over the lakefront. Plan to arrive early in the day to stake out a premium spot with your blanket or lawn chairs. Fireworks are staged at Celebration Place east of the public museums on First Avenue. Pack a picnic or choose from a selection of hot, fresh food from local vendors. Admission is FREE.

Music and entertainment on multiple stages kicks off on July 3 in the HarborPark area, as the City of
Kenosha prepares to celebrate Independence Day. A full line-up of entertainment continues July 4-5. Rainbow Valley Carnival offers a variety of thrills and games of chance.
Happenings Magazine, Festival Foods, Kenosha County and community partners join
the City of Kenosha to support Celebrate America activities. Admission is free and open to the public.

LET FREEDOM SING: July 4, 2019

The City of Kenosha and Kenosha County are excited to present “Let Freedom Sing,” at the Pennoyer Park Bandshell on Thursday, July 4, continuing a tradition of free, family-friendly concerts prior to the Festival Foods Fireworks at 9:30 p.m.

Music schedule:

3:15 p.m.: Kenosha Unified School District’s Continental Band

4:30-6 p.m.: Kenosha Pops Band, featuring patriotic music

7 - 9 p.m.: Saturday June Band, performing original material as well as popular covers, SJB has been making and recording music in the Midwest since 2007, led by singers Saturday June and Jami Dawn. The band is rounded out by Rob Mason on guitar, Jim Glay on drums and Bob Hill on bass.
