Hello, I am Captain Christine Flahive, Commander of the First Shift Patrol. The City of Kenosha has a population exceeding 99000 people and covers a geographic area of approximately twenty-four square miles. Our shift is made up of thirty five patrol officers and six supervisors who respond to a large volume of diverse calls each year. In order to best serve the citizens, officers patrol in squad cars, on motorcycles, on bicycles and walk beats. Each member of the shift is committed to positively interacting with citizens in an effort to assist them with the quality of life issues confronting each of them on a day-to-day basis. Hello, I am Captain Michael Rombalski, the commander of Second Shift patrol. We currently have fourty four officers assigned to the shift and seven supervisors. We handle the largest volume of calls for service on the department and also work at numerous special events throughout the year. To best serve the citizens of Kenosha, third shift has a directed patrol unit, tavern unit, and a bicycle unit. These specialty units cover problematic areas in the city where quality of life issues arise.
