Certification
Rider certification is conducted by Kenosha Area Transit. You must complete an application and have your physician certify the information. The application process enables us to understand your functional ability to use transit. You may use Care-A-Van for two round-trips prior to returning a completed application.
Once Kenosha Area Transit receives your completed application, you will be notified of a decision by mail within 21 days, and you can begin scheduling trips. Incomplete applications can significantly delay the review process, and must be completed before additional rides are scheduled. For questions about the certification, or to check the status on an application, you may call: 262-653-4290.
