The City of Kenosha's definition of a Special Event is a planned, special occurrence in a park or on public property, which has community-wide appeal. Examples of Special Events include -- but are not limited to -- festivals, concerts, parades, marches, ceremonies, tournaments, markets or shows.
A complete Special Event application with a site map plan and application fee should be submitted a minimum of 45 days in advance of the proposed event. The application for a permit will require approval by one or more City boards or commissions.
