Colorful kites fill the sky during the 19th annual kite festival, presented by the City of Kenosha and Gift of Wings. A grand launch of more than 300 kites officially kicks off the event at 12 noon. See flying demonstrations of gigantic show kites (100+ feet) and stunt kite demonstrations by professional fliers from the around the Midwest, including Connor Doran -- a finalist in America's Got Talent. Kids can participate in kite-making and kite-decorating workshops, and there will be kite flying lessons and kite flying contests throughout the day for all ages. Bring your own kite or buy one at the event. Free kites to the first 100 kids to register for the Kids Mad Dash. Admission is FREE.
