| Mission Statements: |

Public Works Administration serves the citizens
of the City of Kenosha in coordination of all Public Works operations
including Equipment/Stores, Streets, Waste, and Recycling. |

The Fleet Maintenance division performs the majority
of the preventative maintenance, diagnostic repair work and
fabrication for nearly 450 pieces of equipment for City of Kenosha
Airport, Administration, Election, Engineering, Municipal Office
Building, Museum, Park Departments and the other divisions of
the Public Works Department. |

The Street Division is responsible for maintenance
and repair of City of Kenosha streets and alleys. Responsibilities
include snow and ice removal, street cleaning, sign and pavement
markings, traffic signals and street lights and storm sewer
repair. |

The Engineering Division works in accordance with
sound engineering principles and accepted engineering practices
to design, construct, operate, maintain and implement infrastructure
and program needs of the City of Kenosha in compliance with
adopted policies and procedures. |
