Mission Statement

The mission of this Maintenance Division is to proactively hold the entire fleet of Kenosha Fire Department emergency apparatus in a constant state of operational readiness through a regular preventive maintenance schedule and competent timely troubleshooting of all equipment assigned to this division.

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Division consist of: Preventive maintenance and repairs to all vehicles & apparatus used by the Kenosha Fire Department. Maintenance of firefighting tools such as chain saws, onboard generators, pumps, gas-fired smoke ejectors, TNT rescue tools (Jaws of Life), nozzles, hoses, and hand tools. Other duties at a station level include plowing, repair and service of generators at each of the seven (7) stations. We also run an apprentice program through a local high school.
