    Tuesdays at the Shell

    This free concert series takes place every Tuesday night through the end of August at the Pennoyer Park Bandshell, and is presented by Musicians Assisting Advancing Music, the City of Kenosha, Happenings Magazine, and more sponsors.

    The music covers a wide variety of genres, and includes both orginal music and cover songs.

    The performance for this week is contemporary rock, jazz, pop, and soul music band Yesterday's Children.

    Downtown Kenosha Pop-Up Beer Garden

    The Beer Garden, located on Simmons Island Beach House, will feature a selection of 5 different Milwaukee Brewing Company brews on tap, along with a local brewery. This family-friendly event includes live music and local food trucks, and different activities daily including bonfires on the beach, spikeball tournaments, and Friday fish.

    Harbor Park Jazz Rhythm & Blues Fest

    The HarborPark Jazz Rhythm & Blues festival, returns with two powerful iconic groups to perform on the lakefront. The Jazz headliner is the Lao Tizer Band featuring guitarist, Chieli Minucci; saxophonist, Eric Marienthal; and violinist Karen Briggs. The Blues headliner is Chicago’s very own top guitarist, Wayne Baker Brooks, son of the late blues master Lonnie Brooks. The remaining two performance slots are still to be announced.

    The festival kicks off at 1:15 p.m. with the popular “Cooking Studio”, an interactive Chef demonstration. Patrons will be able to purchase raffle tickets and participate in the very popular silent auction and “Wine Pull” raffle, giving supporters the opportunity of winning top quality bottles of wines.

    Tickets go on sale June 22 at Tenuta's Delicatessen & Liquors, Jack Andrea, and the Kenosha Community Foundation office, or visit the listed website to receive $5 online discount. General admission lawn seats are $25 in advance and $35 at the gate. The Texas Roadhouse VIP tickets are $85 (includes concert ticket, food, complimentary beer and wine).

    All proceeds benefit the Mahone Fund. The mission is to provide educational opportunities for economically and academically deserving youth and to support healthy lifestyle initiatives in communities of color.
