    Tuesdays at the Shell

    Free, public concerts take place at 6 p.m. every Tuesday, July 9 - August 27 at the Pennoyer Bandshell located at Seventh Avenue and Kennedy Drive. Supporting sponsors include: Miller Lite, Frank J. Parise Law Offices, TG's Restaurant and Pub, Molly's Loft, Faded Barbershop for Men, Union Park Tavern and CD-DVD-Games. Food and soft drinks are available for purchase at the concerts.

    The band for July 9 is Ivy Ford. Ivy Ford is an indigo artist that performs the blues, opening for blues legends such as Buddy Guy, J.B. Ritchie and Tom Holland. Ivy Ford commands energy that is almost magical.

    The popular outdoor concert series features two performances each Thursday in July and August on the Meijer and Heating & Cooling Solutions Stage. Bring your lawn chair or blanket. Refreshments available for purchase, or pack your own picnic. Admission is FREE.

    July 11: Gone Country is a group of rock n’ roll musicians who have a deep appreciation for country music. Playing old standards and the latest hits in country – like Keith Urban, Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, Garth Brooks, Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood, The Band Perry, and many others – Gone Country brings a high energy performance to each show.

    “Goosebumps 2” While collecting junk one day, best friends Sonny and Sam meet Slappy, a mischievous talking dummy from an unpublished “Goosebumps” book by R.L.
    Stine.

     

    The free outdoor movie screening series takes place at dusk on the following Friday evenings: June 14 and 28, July 12, and August 2 and 23. The June 14 and 28, July 12 and August 23 screenings will be held at at Nash Schoollocated on 99th Avenue. The event will be held weather permitting.
