    Walk for Paws 5K

    Safe Harbor Humane Society is parterning with the Kenosha Running club to bring you Walk for Paws, a dog friendly 5K run/walk. Walk for Paws features local vendors, contests, food vendors, meeting adoptable dogs, agility courses, pet demonstrations, and live music from Vibration Foundation.

    All registrations include a tshirt, and the first 100 registered racers receive a goodie bag.

    Downtown Kenosha Pop-Up Beer Garden

    The Beer Garden, located on Simmons Island Beach House, will feature a selection of 5 different Milwaukee Brewing Company brews on tap, along with a local brewery. This family-friendly event includes live music and local food trucks, and different activities daily including bonfires on the beach, spikeball tournaments, and Friday fish.

    Admission is free.

    Tuesdays at the Shell

    This free concert series takes place every Tuesday night through the end of August at the Pennoyer Park Bandshell, and is presented by Musicians Assisting Advancing Music, the City of Kenosha, Happenings Magazine, and more sponsors.

    The music covers a wide variety of genres, and includes both orginal music and cover songs.

    The performance for this week is roots rock band Kai Anderson & The Pickups.

    The popular outdoor concert series features two performances on the Meijer stage on show dates in July and August. The band for this date is Up All Night.

    Bring your lawn chair or blanket. Refreshments available for purchase, or pack your own picnic.  Admission is FREE. Presented by the City of Kenosha and Happenings Magazine.

    Bands, Brews & BBQ's is Kenosha's biggest BBQ festival. Spanning three days, the event will feature live entertainment, kid-friendly activities, a beer garden and the opportunity to taste some of the finest BBQ in the country.

    Attendees will have the chance to watch the national BBQ teams compete for state prizes, learn their tips and secrets, taste and purchase BBQ, and vote for their favorite team. Admission is $5 or purchase a wristband in advance for $5 for all three days.Visit hap2it.com for more details.

    A portion of the proceeds benefit the scholarship foundation of the Kenosha Area Chamber of Commerce.
