The Kenosha Water Utility Engineering Department is responsible for reviewing, approving, and inspecting all sewer and water infrastructure within our system. In addition to a variety of other projects, such as: responding to Digger’s Hotline locating requests, sanitary sewer televising inspections, manhole inspections, smoke testing of the sanitary system, flow monitoring, water main leak detection, and hydrant flow testing. Our Geographical Information System (G.I.S.) Department is responsible for GPS collection and locating, as well as maintaining and updating our sewer and water system information in the GIS Database.
