Kenosha Area Transit will operate the Lakefront Trolley Fridays through Sundays from June 9 through August 27, 2023. Hours will be 3:45 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. Fridays;
1:45 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. Saturdays, and 1:45 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. Sundays.
The City of Kenosha’s “Lakefront Trolley” is now operating on a route from Parkside University on the city’s north side, through downtown and south to Kemper Center.
The Trolley route passes several art galleries near the Union Park neighborhood. Other highlights on the route include the History Center, the Civil War Museum and the Kenosha Public Museum.
There are markers along the route, but people can also flag down the driver for pick up along the way. Fares are $1 for adults and $ .50 for children.
