The 2008 parade theme is "Let Freedom Ring" and parade-goers will be treated to the Band of the BlackWatch, the Kenosha Kartwheelers: A Dewey Drill Team from the Kenosha Public Library, Kenosha Area Viet Nam Veterans and military vehicles, Navy Club Ship 40, Kenosha Public Museums' mascots, The Rambler Band, the Kenosha Continental Marching Band, Kracker Jacks Drumline, Star Spirit Razzle Dazzles and much, much more! Grab you hat, sunblock and water and join us!

Route:

The parade steps off at 2pm at 60th Street and 22nd Avenue.
The parade continues east on 60th Street to 8th Avenue.
At 8th Avenue, the parade turns south and proceeds around the south side of Library Park.
At 7th Avenue, the parade turns north and returns to 60th Street.
The parade follows 60th Street to 3rd Avenue and travels north on 3rd Avenue.
Disbanding occurs at approximately 3rd Avenue and 58th Street.

Route Closures:

The parade route closes to traffic at 1:15pm. Everyone is urged to use caution whether on foot or on wheels and to be a good neighbor by disposing of your trash properly.
