Backpack Through the Mesozoic!

You become the tour guide. This self-directed tour is for small groups to enjoy a wonderful educational experience at the Museum on their own.

Everything you need to be the tour guide is included in the backpack--a script, questions and answers, and a backpack full of activities and props to engage the group. Cost: $5

Dino Digs

The Museum offers the opportunity for hands-on learning and fun at the Dino Digs.

The Dino Digs are designed for children ages three and up. Donning safety goggles and using paleontologists' tools, children can become amateur paleontologists and dig for dinosaurs at our simulated excavation sites.

The Digs are available for your budding paleontologists on most Saturdays, but please call the Museum in advance for the schedule at 262-653-4450. There is no charge to participate.

Kids Discovery Lab - Other Activities

The Kids Discovery Lab is stocked with coloring sheets and dinosaur rubbings for children and educational dinosaur books for all ages. Parents are invited to join their children in learning the fascinating history of dinosaurs.
