Welcome to the Dinosaur Discovery Museum
The Dinosaur Discovery Museum in Kenosha, Wisconsin is the only museum to exclusively focus on the link between birds and meat-eating dinosaurs, one of the most complete known fossil records. The Carthage Institute of Paleontology is housed in the Museum, and it is dedicated to the preparation and conservation of real dinosaur fossils.

NEW! Visit our newest theropod! Carnotaurus or "flesh eating bull" is the Dinosaur Discovery Museum's newest arrival and is 25 feet long and 6-1/2 feet tall at the hips. The almost-complete fossilized skeleton was found in Patagonia, Argentina.
Check out the new soundscape of environmental and animal sounds added to the exhibit gallery. Step back into the Mesozoic era with outdoors sounds in different terrains and weather conditions during the Age of Dinosaurs.
The main gallery of the Museum shows the link between birds and meat-eating dinosaurs (theropods), which is one of the most complete transitions known from the fossil record. There are more theropod, meat-eating dinosaurs in the Museum's exhibit than in any other major museum in North America.
