Does the bus get close, |
but not close enough? |
You know the benefits to riding the bus: it’s cheaper than a car payment, you don’t have to schedule the oil changes, and you don’t have to be the one fighting traffic. But you also know that it doesn’t go door to door. If the walk from home to the bus - or the bus to work - is just too long, now you can use your bike. That’s right, Kenosha Area Transit has bike racks on its buses! Each bus can take up to two bicycles for those whose stop is just a bit too far to walk. If there’s an empty bike rack, you can bring your bicycle along on the bus.
Just make sure to call (262)653-4290 to make sure the bus you want to ride has a bike rack. Not sure which route goes where you’re going? Check out Kenosha Area Transit’s website for route information. |
