For further information regarding reservations and rental fees please call the Public Works Department at 262-653-4050, Monday - Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Various park facilities throughout the City can be rented to organizations and/or individuals. Reservations for park picnic areas (May 1 - September 30) are taken after January 1 of each year. Reservations should be made as early as possible - no later than two weeks prior to the event. In order to reserve space at a park, we need the following information: your name, address, telephone number, the number of people in your group and whether or not you will serve free beer/wine. No bands are allowed. A reserved park permit is regulated by a Park Use Agreement. Individual/organization must be in compliance with all park rules and regulations. Payment of fees must be made at time of reservation. No reservations may be made over the phone.

The City of Kenosha offers two picturesque park locations for wedding ceremonies. Lincoln Park (6900 18th Avenue) has been a favorite for decades; the Warren Tyler Memorial Flower Garden is perfect for a summer wedding or for photographing wedding parties. Wolfenbüttel Park (5901 3rd Avenue) offers a charming gazebo and Lake Michigan as a backdrop, creating an idyllic setting for a wedding ceremony.

These areas can be reserved from June 1 - September 30. Please note that there is no guarantee of when flowers will be planted. Reservations are accepted up to one year in advance.

Various park facilities throughout the City can be rented to organizations and/or individuals. The City offers three buildings to rent for various activities.

Forest Park Concession Building

4803 61st Street

This building is located in Forest Park along 61st Street and is attached to restrooms. The building is designed to serve concessions during events, when the park area is in use. This site has electric but has no kitchen facilities. This facility cannot be reserved when a special event is being held in the park.

Lincoln Park Concession Building

6900 18th Avenue

This building is located in Lincoln Park along 18th Avenue and is attached to an open-air picnic pavilion. The building is designed to serve concessions during events, when the park or picnic area is in use. This site has electric but has no kitchen facilities. This facility cannot be reserved when a special event or softball game is being held in the park.

Southport Beach House
Due to planned renovations, the Southport Beach House will be UNAVAILABLE for rentals through 2023.

7825 3rd Avenue

This historic art deco building at Southport Park has a capacity of 150 persons, with tables and chairs to accommodate a group of that size. It can be used for events such as wedding receptions, family reunions, weddings and baby showers, etc. The building features a dance floor area, small stage and a warming kitchen. It offers a Lake Michigan backdrop that creates an idyllic setting for a wedding ceremony or other celebration.

The Sesquicentennial Bandshell in Pennoyer Park is only available to rent for special events.

The Park Division offers some equipment that may be rented by individuals or organizations in association with a park facility rental. Equipment is intended for use at the rented park facility only. For all rental inquiries, please call the Department of Public Works, 262.653.4050, Monday - Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.  We accept cash, check, credit or debit. Please note: debit will be charged a $3 convenience fee; credit will be charged a 2.5% convenience fee with a $3 minimum.
