Reenactor Participation Program
Thank you for your interest in our Museum's living history and reenacting programs. The Museum is enlisting the talents, research, and knowledge of historians and reenacting groups to contribute to our visitors' understanding of the history and culture of the United States before, during, and after the Civil War. We are seeking reenacting groups and individuals to supplement the Museum's interpretation and programming. Past military and civilian interpretations have included:
- Recruiting and enlistment rallies
- Infantry drill and camp life
- Artillery demonstrations
- Weaving and sewing
- Sharpshooting and marksmanship
- Cavalry training and drill
- Political rallies
- Medical and nursing demonstrations
- Period cooking and food ways
The Civil War Museum works with groups and individuals to improve our programming and create new experiences for our visitors, and we welcome and encourage you and your group's participation. To get started, print and complete the three forms below and return them to:
