About the Exhibits
Personal stories of people from all walks of life and circumstances are illustrated in the exhibits. Men, women and children from various ethnic and social backgrounds all experienced life during and after the Civil War in different ways. It is through these personal stories that visitors learn about the causes and effects of the Civil War.
